Atlas Comics And Collectibles is one of the East Coast's best kept secrets! In 2023, owner Rebecca Seymour threw open the doors in her hometown of Gisborne, and it's been a wild ride ever since. Through navigating a post-pandemic market and the impacts of Cyclone Gabrielle, Rebecca and the Atlas team have remained dedicated to providing our community with the joy of comics, manga and more. 

At Atlas, we've also turned what could be a weakness into our greatest super power! We often receive comics after their release date, but that just means that if you missed out on the initial drop, we've got your back. You'll often find first printings and big titles on our shelves when everyone else is sold out-- that's because Gisborne is pretty remote, and our comics ship from the UK.
